Water is a natural resource that is necessary for the needs of many people even on all
living beings, therefore meeting the needs of clean water for the settlements to be a requirement
that there should be. Ablution within the meaning of the term Islamic law is clearing member body
with water, one of the Sunnah of ablution is used ablution water sparingly. Save money here in
terms of the use of water to perform ablutions must be in accordance with purposes only. While
the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the tap water discharge after being modified
to altitude reservoirs and finding the ideal altitude tendon. This research was conducted using the
method or approach theoretically and analysis. This study uses tap water that has been modified.
The parameters used in this study is the parameter diameter faucet with a diameter of 2 mm, 4 mm
and 8 mm. as well as the high reservoir parameters with a high 2 m, 4 m and 6 m. Optimize process
parameters using the Taguchi method. The number of experiments is 9 and performed 3 times
replication, once that is done the optimization process of the multi response. In the process of data
collection is done is to measure the flow of water out of the tap that has been modified by using a
measuring cup with units of L / min generated by the tap water. Based on the analysis that has been
studied in saving water for ablution with variations in reservoir elevation, sectional area of the tap,
then obtained for a height of 4 m reservoir that is 62.1555% means that with a height of 4 m
reservoir will provide the most substantial influence on the flow of water produced for savings.
While Level factor that provides optimum discharge is high reservoir Factor B is 4 m at level 1 for
the cross-sectional diameter of 2 mm with the resulting discharge of 2.74 L / min and Factor A
reservoir 2 m high ie at the level of 1 to 2 mm in diameter cross-section the resulting water flow
of 2.88 L / min.
