The objective of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) on students motivation. This study was conducted on educational process for the student of Chemistry Education Program on the first semester in grade year 2014/2015. This quasi experimental research with pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group design consisted of one independent variable and one dependent variabel. The independent variabel is cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), while the dependent variables is learning motivation. Pre-test used to know the condition of learning motivation before the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) given. Post-test used to know the condition of final learning motivation after the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) was given. The data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire. The sampling technique that used in this study is simple random sampling. The result of this study is that cooperative learning model TGT based on PChK significantly affects better on students’ motivation.
