The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of economic growth on poverty reduction in Berau. The usefulness of the study are expected to be contribute ideas and information materials to local governments in determining the various policies related to issues of poverty alleviation in Berau. The results showed that the economic growth negatively affect the level of poverty, it means that any increase in economic growth will have an impact on reducing poverty in Berau. Berau district government therefore need a more optimal effort to boost economic growth in Berau in its efforts to reduce poverty.
