The aim of the research conducted is to know how much the value of the investment in the land transport sector and the number of workers absorbed on land transport sector in Berau during 2008 to 2012. this research also to determine the effect of the investment on employment in the land transport sector in Berau. From the results of analysis investment value of the land transport sector has positive effect on employment in the land transport sector in Berau, unacceptable. It can be seen where the regression coefficient (1.25) of the regression equation is worth positive, as well as from the results of ttest where tcount (4.421) is greater than the value ttable (2,353).
