The purpose of this study was to determine how much power is generated from biogas that can be generated by residents in the village Suka Rahmat East Kutai District. Respondents were obtained by 27 families with criteria citizens who maintain intensive cattle. The result showed that, basically waste generated by residents in the village of Suka Rahmat is a potential to produce biogas and electricity, but have not managed and utilized. Based on the state of the field, the energy of biogas that has been used by residents only about 0.27 kW alone or 10.4% and the rest is 2.33 kW, or approximately 89.6% untapped. This dikerenakan still many there are several obstacles, among others: the lack of funds for the creation of a new digester, the cost of care and the lack of knowledge of the citizens in the process and utilize the maximum dirt. It is necessary for cooperation to all interested parties, especially the government and local companies.
