Surya Hutani Jaya Company is a company that produces products in the form of processed wood to be exported abroad. One type of wood that is produced is a kind of eucalyptus pelita, acasia crassicarpa and acasia mangium, they produced in the area of the company through nursery activities. The nursery activities conducted generative, vegetative and mini cutting. In this study examined are in the mini cutting nursery activities undertaken by women workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the labor productivity of women without giving a break and with the provision of rest periods vary. The study began by measuring the working time (inputs) to the women workers who are carrying out the work of cutting cuttings (plant) and then counting the number of shoots produced by the labor force at every hour of work (output). Measurement of working time (input) and counting the number of shoots (output) carried out repeatedly that the working conditions without giving a break and with the provision of rest periods vary. The method used is the method of partial productivity measures. The results stated that the level of labor productivity of women without giving a break of 9.11%, while the rate of female labor productivity by providing a varied breaks are respectively 9.08%; 7.61%; 9.72%; 8.57%, and 8.60%. From the results of these calculations can be concluded that the highest female labor productivity is 9.72%, which is in working condition by giving a break for 30 minutes per working day. The results of this study can be used as the basis for the company to provide time off specifically to women workers during the 30 minutes scheduled for 12.00 s / d 12:30 WITA. Thus giving time off to women workers are expected to be working optimally so that productivity can be increased.
