This research was aim to find the illustration of structural steel design, using ETABS and SAP2000 software, and to find how far the result different of structural steel by using ETABS and SAP2000. This investigation is background by the difference of design result by using both of the software. Is conducted by making simulation at two application software which used in structural steel design, those are ETABS and SAP2000. Both of software is determined by AISC LRFD 93 code (United States code). By using of both of the software, it will obtain the comparison of the application. The design was conducted by built a model at the structure. Then, the result of frame calculation is viewed at every element to find the difference of design result by using both of the software.
