Aim that want achieved in this watchfulness detects soil fertility status at farming rice land in the tidal swamp Banjar district especially: pH soil, soil texture and element trace. Method that used in this watchfulness method survey and laboratory analysis. soil sample determination is done by random at farming rice land. Sample total each district 2 samples points always planted local variety good rice and varietas superior consists of 2 soil pockets each contain ± 1 kg soil. so that found 10 soil pockets at five districts at tune area pang lessened regency banjar. each soil pocket is allocated 9 variables. so that total numbers 90 observation units. To answer watchfulness aim, so laboratory analysis result is compared standardly soil chemistry character evaluation criteria productively fertility criteria: very low, low, tall and very tall. Based on research result and laboratory analysis about soil fertility status at farming rice land in the tidal swamp Banjar district: 1) farming rice land in the tidal swamp belong to sour averagely pH 4,6. 2) Cation can be exchanged towards element Ca and K. each belong to criteria low and temporary element Mg and Na belong to tall and very tall. 3) Alluminium element can be exchanged to belong to very low, and so do element trace P-bray very low. 4) Average soil texture at farming rice land in the tidal swamp Banjar district is dominated tough group only a part little found dusty clay texture group.
