The purpose of this research is to compare the feasibility of rice farming incomes and padi lokal and padi unggul in tidal land Banjar District. The method used in this study is a survey method. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. Number of farmers as respondents of 30 people spread across five (5) district predetermined. Each district were taken 6, 3 Farmers with details of padi lokal farmers and 3 types of farmers padi unggul.Based on the results of research on comparative analysis with padi unggul padi lokal farming in the tidal area of Banjar Regency can be summarized as follows: Compare rice productivity between padi lokal and padi unggul showed real difference. For existing varieties, productivity is still below the average standard genetic potential. Average profit
obtained from a padi lokal farming in the district of Banjar (Rp.5.310.823, - per ha) is lower than the average profit-padi unggul (Rp 6,192,388, - per ha).Padi lokal and padi unggul cultivated, based on the value of RCR variable and the two are not significantly different. Rice varieties commonly cultivated in Banjar district for padi lokal is Siam rukut Whereas varieties Ciherang.
