The aim of this research was suitability evaluation biophysical aspects of Teluk Tamiang Bay for Developing seawead culture With methods that are used survey methods, this study was conducted in August-October 2012 at Teluk Tamiang bay on pulau laut barat district of South Kalimantan. Water sampling techniques locations was purposive research by taking water samples at three observation stations at Teluk Tamiang bay. The results of this research was in the metric score for biophysical parameter is 66 with the suitability class up to 53.35 category S1 (very appropriate) and this site is perfect location for seaweed culture. which means that this area does not have a serious limitation to apply the treatment given or just have a restriction that does not mean and does not influence on its use and will not raise the level of the input or the treatment accorded to business success bubdidaya seaweed long line system
