The implementation of the concrete casting based on mix design is sometimes unable to reach its planned strength because of the influence of various factors in field. Therefore, changes need to be made by means of a mixture try (trial mix) that require quite a long time, then that needs to be examined the correlation between the strength of mortar and concrete strength. Research done by making concrete cylinder test objects the size of 15 x 30 cm cube and mortar side 5 cm sizes with three variations of the quality of the concrete, which is 17,5 MPa; 25 MPa and 35 MPa, respectively, as many as 20 pieces. Object test done testing press after passing the treatment for 28 days, and the recording is done at the time of the test objects achieve maximum load. The test results showed that the required strength mortar by quality concrete MPa to 8,855 plan 17.5 MPa; 16,402 MPa to quality concrete plan 25 MPa and 19,758 MPa to the quality of the concrete plan of 35 MPa.
