The purposes of the research are: (1) to count the flood debit of river plan over five and ten years repetition; (2) to count deposit volume over ten years repetition; and (3) to plan flood controlling build at the Sentosa, Remaja and Gelatik areas of Samarinda City.The research counted rainfall using Gumbell and Log Person III methods, and in counting flood debit used Rational Modification and Nakayasu methods. However, the deposit plan was counted with flood debit and Rational Modification method due to the Q yielded was higher than Nakayasu method. Results of the research revealed that (1) the figure of flood debit over the five years repetition is 117.926 m3/second and for the ten years repetition is 119.190 m3/ second; (2) the deposit volume needed for the ten years repetition is 429.024 m3; and (3) the design plan use trapesium deposit form with three levels and with volume deposit capacity 436,800 m3 > 429,024 m3 (deposit volume needed).
