Forest alteration caused by human activity is common issue in tropical forest. Forest is major carbon sink in terrestrial ecosystems. Forest exploitation deplection carbon sink in forest ecosystem. This research was conducted to explore and estimate carbon sink in land use type in forest consession of PT. Sikatan Wana Raya. Carbon stock in the trees and necromass biomass was estimated by allometric equations. Destructive method were applied to estimate carbon stock in shrubs, herbs, and grasses. Soil carbon stock was determined at three depths (0-5 cm, 5-15 cm, and 15 – 30 cm). The total carbon stock ranged from 65.47 t ha-1 in Indegenous garden to 193.28 t ha-1. In Young logged forest (YLF) The total carbon stock ranged from 65.47 t ha-1 to 193.28 t ha-1. Carbon was sequestrated in tree biomass had major contribution in old logged forest (OLF) total carbon stock. Nevertheless, YLF carbon stock was stored in necromass. YLF had relatively higher carbon stock than OLF. This result indicated necromass had potential to store carbon.
