Research on the study of water quality for fish farming cages in the river this Kahayan, aims to determine whether there are changes in water quality from March 2011 to March 2012 and samapai feasible or not water quality for fish cultivation in the river Kahayan Karamba. The results showed the water quality in Kahajan fish cages especially in the area from March 2011 to March 2012 shows a decrease in water quality parameters were observed for 6 are: temperature, pH, DO, CO2, ammonia and brightness. This decrease is caused due to high rainfall in 2011 than in 2012 but it is a human activity along the river Kahayan. Although a decline in water quality in the river karamba Kahayan not too disturbing fish farming cages in the river Kahayan especially for the month of March 2011 until March 2012, meaning that the water quality of the fish can still be tolerated.
