The purpose of this study were: 1. conducted an analysis using IE Matrix to determine the prospect of the peanuts agribusiness system development in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. 2. determined peanuts agribusiness system development strategy as an alternative to increase revenue in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. This study was conducted in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency and was a qualitative descriptive study using primary data from interviews with respondents who have insight and expertise to the purpose of research and got secondary datafrom relevant institutions. The results showed that the position of the peanuts agribusiness development efforts in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency to b on the IE Matrix III cells based on the results of the IFE matrix weighted score of 2.392 and EFE score for 3.01 was grow and build condition. The results of the environmental analysis using IE matrix shows that the efforts of peanuts agribusiness system development in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency has good prospects for the strategic choices made by local governments in efforts to realize the Rawa Makmur 2020. Appropriate strategies for the development of the peanuts agribusiness system in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency is an integrated strategy, both backward integration, forward integration and horizontal integration. This option suitable to the agribusiness concept that require good integration between all the subsystems that make up the agribusiness system.
