The purpose of the research was to know about total cost production, with total production, advantage, Break Even Point production, Break Even Point price and payback period which is gain by businessman of oyster mushroom in Samarinda.This research started on November 2009 until January 2010, with research location is in Samarinda. The method that used is census method. The data needed by research are primary and secondary data. Primary data is got by observation and interview with responder use questionnaire which have been compiled in line with research. While secondary data is got from bibliography study and institution information which is related to research execution. The results of this research shows that which is total cost production oyster mushroom is Rp 3.147.795,00 respondent-1 of production-1, with total production oyster mushroom is 363,4 kgs respondent-1, the advantage by responder is Rp 0/039.705,00 respondent-1 of production-1, Break Even Point equal produce to 51,34 kgs, Break Even Point equal price to Rp 8.662,06 kgs-1 and the period of payback is needed by the cultivation effort of oyster mushroom in Samarinda to reach Break Even Point is 2 month and 5 days. This matter indicated development of cultivation effort of oyster mushroom in Samarinda is advantage.
