Most of the Indonesian population still relies on agriculture and livestock to the national economy. Unwittingly, agricultural products and farm produces byproducts that have not much to get attention, even considered as waste that can not be utilized. Waste from livestock in abundance not only used as animal manure can be utilized as an energy source. Biogas as an environmentally friendly alternative energy and renewable compared with that derived from fossil fuels. One factor that participates in the growth of microorganisms producing biogas is water. In the fermentation process for each type of different microorganisms need water for growth.Observations were made in the digester sectional size of 50 x 100 cm. Comparison with the water content of dairy cow manure is 1:1,1, 1:1,2, 1:1,3; and 1:1,4. Measurements made after the gas is formed on the day of the fifth start at 08.00 am until 20.00 pm for five days at the ranch STPP Malang. Before the measurements, the gas that formed early must first be removed, then the filling slurry is done every day. For comparison 1:1,3 achieve the highest maximum pressure amounted to 0.7 Kpa, was lowest at the ratio of maximum pressure of 0,5 Kpa 1:1,1. This shows that the ratio of 1:1,3 bacteria faster biogas process than in the other. And productivity of the gas produced in the comparison between dairy cow with water 1:1,3 that is equal to 0.033465 Kg /m3 / day. Maximum productivity of the gas produced in the comparison between dairy cow with water 1:1,26.
